We stayed at this amazing hotel that used to be a famous one and it was a truly mind-blowing experience! The Art Deco architecture was jaw-dropping, and the spacious and clean one bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen was super impressive. The location was unbeatable, with close proximity to the Santa Monica Pier, beaches, and shopping options. We were delighted to find a beautiful pool area and a 24/7 fitness center. The staff was always available to assist us and we loved the convenience of not needing a room key. Can't wait to return!

Sonder The Beacon is my go-to place in LA. I keep coming back because I always have a great stay. Staff even helped with currency. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, fitness center, pool, and AC. Can't wait to return for another holiday.

The room at Sonder was excellent value for money, with a clean and gorgeous bathroom. The location was perfect, close to the beach and Promenade, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I also loved the convenience of the code to access my room and the on-site storage room with lockers. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful, making me feel welcome and taken care of. Lastly, the hot tub at the pool was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring.

I loved being able to cook in the kitchen, the nearby beaches and park were great, and the property was eco-friendly. So nice of them to provide noise machines and earplugs. guess they knew their walls were paper-thin.

Psh, who needs housekeeping? And the "free" WiFi was nothing but a tease.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. there were some cleanliness issues, including flies and a spider web in the room.
